That looks SO much better, but I think the front end still sticks out a little too much.

Other than the front end, a BIG improvement. Really, though, it's likely the Bonneville and the platform it's based on will die in a couple of years (that's what I've been told). Could this point the way to its successor, with an all-new platform and the like?

Since it is the current Bonneville sans cladding, plus a new bumper, wheels, and a few other details, I'm sure they could easily implement the changes in a refreshening down the line.

nothing wrong with the Bonneville, especially when it finally looks decent.. The damn cladding is nasty - this concept, however is quite nice.

Not only would I buy it, I think it would make an awsome poor-man's STS.
Probably has the S/C 3800, which is fine with me. A pulley kit and hang on, baby!
The front should be shortened a little and redone, but the rest of it is very attractive now. Paint it a nice color (black, dark cherry red) and you have a great american luxury performance sedan.

The pictures don't show it, but when seen in person, there are a lot of unecessary ridges and bulges that clutter up the design. I like that rear 3/4 view above. Too bad Pntiac doesn't see fit to put manual trannies in their cars, a big stumbling block for me...
