That's exactly what I was thinking too.......the hatch didn't quite look like the 318....but what do I know? **shrug**
And I truely hope it wasn't in an accident...that looks all too real to be planted that way....

It's a European Ford Escort. Favored by the boy racers, but luckily not one of the Cosworths.

This is of the Cossie in full racing trim.
It was a staged accident to educate people about the dangers of speeding.
The car was crashed into the tree (sans driver) at a high rate of speed and that's what you get. After, the area was cleaned of miscellaneous debris and people were allowed to look at the damage. It really is quite impressive.
Do a search in the Car Lounge. They posted those pictures and the story there.
