popping sound from my trunk?

during the first few minutes of driving, my car makes a strange popping noise from the trunk area, like the gas tank is purging or something. what the [email protected]#$ is that sound?

I think it is the gas in the gas tank before it has been pressurized...........sounds like liquid sloshing around....

got the same problem, seems like the car is knocking, also seems like its been possessed

I initially thought there was a retarded cat or hyperactive small child that kept running into my rear quarter panel, but turns out it's just gas tank pressurization. With that in mind, be sure that you tighten the gas cap very well after fueling.
