Re: Porsche Boxster (non-'s'), what's your take? (fahrfrumlosin)
i have about a dozen friends with Boxsters. every single one of them loves the car a lot. there is a popular misconception that they are not fast. as has been said by mor than one Boxster owner:
"if you don't think this car is fast... then you just admitted that you don't know how to drive it."
that said, if i had $50,000, i'd take a Boxster S over just about any other new car on the market today. they are easy to drive at the limit, and they have more than enough power for canyon carving, or back-country jaunts.
other than the 996 GT2 and 996TT, the Boxster S is my fave new Porsche.
