i have a 01 jetta vr6 12v with a plastic manifold i odviously cant cut it or weld it how can i port it or what is a good ported replacement that will bolt on like the stock one with no problems ????

SRI is basically just a tubular pipe/shaft/section/whatever you wanna call it that is welded onto the stock runners, or similar, custom made. Usually ran in FI systems. They can be pretty pricy though so you know, and their spec's range depending on the application. I wouldn't bother for the price if you just want another mani for your NA engine, but in the end it's your money.

If you want to spend that kind of money I would first invest in head work and cams. Better pay off.

i have never heard of a sri very interesting but still can i not fit on a metal mani that is ported ?
