Possible to fit 5x112 bolt wheels on an MK3??

I was wondering if it was possible to get a 5x112 conversion on an MK3??? I'm interested in doing a Mercedes wheel, which most all have a 5x112 bolt pattern...Is that possible? Someone told me the 5x100 holes will overlap the 5x112 or something?? Anyone have pics of MK3's with some sort of Mercedes wheel on it?
Thanks! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

It's possible, but pricey. Either switch to new Passat running gear (which is 5x112mm) or run spacers and have wheels that don't fit right. I think. I can't really remember, because I'm stupid.

Mercedes wheels are a tad on the pricey side as well
As for the Passat business, does that stuff mostly bolt up, or is that more towards the "custom" side of things?

Either you switch to the Passat running gear or stick with the 5 x 100 bolt pattern. Unfortunately, the 5 x 112 pattern is for Passat only, newer models that is. Adapters would be required, then you have to worry about the wheels fitting right, but it can be done, call the guys at 1552 design, or e mail them at http://www.1552design.com, they should be able to help you out. Good luck...
