I did a search on this topic and nothing came up. How hard is it to convert my 2.0 to 5x100 bolt pattern? What parts do i need and how much should i expect to spend doing this conversion? What about adapters? Where can this stuff be found? Thanks everyone.

Re: Possibly convert 2.0 to 5x100 (Ghetto-8v)

Or rear rotors from a VR6 GTI. I have a GTI 2.0. Thats all the stuff i need? Just 4 rotors or the H&R adapters?

There are no adapters that convert 4x100 to 5x100. You will need to install the rear rotors and bearings. The front is a little more complicated. You can either fill and drill your existing hubs to 5x100 and press in studs. Or you need to convert the Knuckles, control arms, axles from a VR6 donor car.

you could replace the front hubs with the euro car service conversion kit!!

It's only 175$ You save a lot compared to the full swap!!!

it's still cheaper than doing the full vr6 swap with A-arms, hubs, spindles, sway bar,etc.... How much is a vr6 brakes anyways??

I got the VR6 bits used for around $300 or so with 8k miles on the parts. I sold my stock parts for something like $200, so I ended up spending about $100 or so on the basic parts plus install. I did end up spending a good bit more than that cause I upgraded to 11.3" calipers, 12.3" Audi S3/TT brakes, stainless lines, etc., but the basic cost for the conversion is not all that much.
Sorry guys, I'd rather spend the extra $$ and do it "right". This is a critical part of the car and I don't want some "home engineered" kit installed.
YMMV.

EDIT: typo
