I won't know until I hear from the insurance company, but my Mk 6 GTI may be totaled and I want to start looking in case I need to find a new car.
Requirements are hatchback or wagon, with documented service history. VW JSW, Passat Wagon, Golf/GTI, Audi A3 Hatchback, and A4 Wagon are what I'm mostly interested in although I would consider a TDI Touareg if the price were right. Really prefer stick shift but not a deal-breaker. My car's book value is $6000-$8000 pending insurance estimate, and I'd rather not have a car payment, at least not a big one.
