Power Big Meet

One of the world's largest auto shows with the participation of American classic cars is held, oddly enough, in Sweden, in the city of Vyasteras. The festival has been held from Thursday to Sunday of the first week of July of each year for 36 years. Power Big Meet was and remains the largest meeting of American car lovers who live in Europe and other countries, located far from the General Motors and Chevrolet factories. From 55 to 75 thousand owners of classic American cars take part in Power Big Meet every year. The festival program begins with a mass run through the city. The route rests on the airfield, in the territory of which the cars park and for a couple of days turn into an exhibit of a huge exhibition.

Where: Lidkoping, Sweden

When: Jul 4 2019 - Jul 6 2019 year

Activities:

Hipoint of the 2019 Power Big Meet in Lidköping Sweden was the gathering of 13 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertibles from 1959. Has never happened since the factory production in Detroit in 1958-1959!
7200 cars on Friday July 5 and 7400 cars on Saturday July 6 made the show an incredible experiance! We had visitors from every country in Europe plus many American enthusiasts stunned by the quality and number of US classis. Several big time high rolleer collectors from the US could not believe the reality of Power Big Meet.
Watch the youtube video from the Biarritz Reunion and the 200 car “Fine Car Cruise” Friday night. Swedish commentary but look at the cars!!!!
Welcome back 2020!!!

Most definitely. I started losing interest around 2009 when the new generations started to take over the show.
