Since I'm not getting anything from the 8V forum I figured I'd try here. I'm looping my P/S and was wondering what needs to be done on the belt side. I don't have A/C to begin with, so when I remove the pump how to I go about converting to a single belt? Do I just get a new pulley for the alternator so that it lines up with the water pump and crank? What models would be a donor for the pulley? Thanks for the help.

You may just be able to shim your pulley enough. Im not sure though.
