my stock 2.0 is ok now but im puting a custom cold air intake on it and in the near future buying an autotech catback exhaust system. What power can i expect to pick up from this? Anyother 2.0'ers have suggestions on how to boost the HP's without forced induction or swaps?

The basics. Even though you should have used the search... located at the upper right-hand of the screen (above logout, and to the right of Help) I'm going to tell you some things.
-Intake and exhaust are a "duh".
-Cams, lifters, springs, etc...
-If you want, get a chip dyno-tuned specific to you car.
As for the power gains with your CAI and cat-back, minimal. At most, expect like.. 7-10, but thats a high hope.

if you want to stay N/A, then go to a junkyard, find a mkIV manifold, valve cover, etc, then swap out your intake system for it, longer and larger runners, 1-2 hp. The gains are minimal, but the sound I hear sounds nothing like a dub. I personally would do that, but I am giong FI route, so it would hurt power gains for me. Also, try to get a 276 cam. I hear that the low end has minimal losses while giving you good power output up top (i think around 8-10 hp, but don't quote me on it). Definetly get a chip, either GIAC or TT and get it tuned specifically for your car. Good luck with your project http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
