As I like to do before I jump into a forum with a post, I've read most every topic on the server. Thanks for all the useful information. I'm looking into Meguiar's wax, 303 Aerospace for the dash, and the Absorber for my dry stage.
I realize it's a big question, but: how do you clean your cars? I'm sure everyone has their favorite methods, but I'm looking for general guidance about what order to go about doing things based on your experience. Glass then dash then exterior? Do you use hose water if you have access to it?
A few other questions:
What do you use for glass cleaner? What do you use to apply the glass cleaner? To apply the 303? To apply wax? I couldn't find a leather topic, so leather cleaning recommendations would be great, too.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to fill this tall order...

Re: Preferred technique/methods/order for cleaning your ride? (ydeologi)

Wow, that is a big question.

Instead of getting into a long winded reply on how I do things. Check out the articles and forums at Autopia ---> http://autopia-carport.com/
(use the Autopia Forums and Details, Details, Details links).
Personally, I'm always learning from the pros and enthusiasts over there.
That should keep you busy for a while.

I clean in no particular order. Wash exterior, weather permitting, I am alway wiping off the dash and seats with a dry microfiber. I use only a water dampened microfiber on the windows. I use 303 every few months on dash and other surfaces ( spray 303 onto a microfiber- do'nt just spray 303 on the dash ). The seats I use Lexol, following their instructions but I only do it once maybe twice a year. Just clean- I do'nt know if there is a right/ wrong way to do it.

No kidding! I've been lurking there for over a month and have already dropped about $250 in detailing stuff. Watch your wallet closely when you're over there!
