Was the steering wheel pointed straight or at an angle? What type of tires are you using? If you need to accelerate hard with the wheel turned, you might need chromoly CV cages, which are very expensive. If the wheel was straight, you're on street tires, and you weren't trying to accelerate through a major pothole or speed bump, then it might be an issue with inferior axles (new or rebuilt?). Exactly what broke?
