i just purchased a 2001 jetta 1.8t, wondering where i could get products and prices for air filter, BOV, etc...any direction would be great, thank you!!!

Well is your car completely stock?? Also what kinda air filter are you looking for, just a replacement element or a cold air intake??? Not sure if you want to run a BOV.

yes my car is stock...i just bought it a month ago. i was thinkin cold-air intake, and why not a blow-off, bad things?

they just dont work to well with 1.8T's

Well the BOV doesn't work that great with our cars. You need an upgraded Diverter Valve (DV). I mean you can run a BOV but you have to unplug your MAF for it to run properly and then you get a CEL. There is a kit out there where you don't have to do that with but there is some controversy on how it works.
As far as an intake, what do you plan on doing with your car?? I mean are you gonna get a turbo upgrade some day???
