problem: mk3 serp and ac lines

so the mk3 serp setup is in my car, and the ac lines connect to the compressor differently...
can i just take the mk3 lines firewall foward and use those?

Nope. If you want to do it without swapping dash and condenser junk, you need to have the fittings from a Mk3 swapped onto the lines in your car. The fittings are different between the 134 compressors and R12 compressors (except the 92 VR Rado) Theyre different all the way back to the evaporator in the dash.

how do i swap the fittings? im confused...
only the connections to the compressor are different, i can get a 134 retro fit fitting for the lines...
all im wondering is if the mk3 lines will bolt up to that adapter on the firewall, or how can i get a mk3 compressor fitting onto a mk2 line?
no you dont need retrofit fittings
you need to have the fittings replaced that go into the compressor
which requires more than likely a hydraulic line shop

so what? take them a set of mk2 lines and a mk3 compressor and say i need this to fit in this (Neanderthal like)
along with the mk3 lines so they can butcher them
