Problem!

well the 337 is a week old...and recently the front right has been sqeaking...It seems to be from the brakes....but not sure. It gets loud when i make tight or sharp left turns...Its really loud and annoyig. Taking it in this monday.....anyone else have this?

My 337 is 24 hours old with speedo (it works when engin is cold but not when it warms up) amd airbag (warning light is on) problems. This is my first VW and not happy about the problems. VW should have a better quality control program in Brasil.

I think the VWs assembled in South America have greater chance of being lemons.

I had intermittant brake squeel during the first 1500 miles...
I took it in to make sure they were wearing correctly and my tech said they were ok and it is not an uncommon occurance on new VWs
they are not squeeling now

at 3500
should go away, go in and have a tech make sure they are wearing properly and drive some more

So really can someone please tell me what made VW decide to have only the 337's come from Brazil?? I always wondered that ???

More than just the 337's are coming from Brazil now. Every GTI and Golf is now made there. And there is not an increase in problems with Brazil made cars, at one point, the Brazil factory was more in spec than the Wolfsburg factory. If VW actually noticed a problem with cars being manufactured in Brazil, don't you think they'd do something about it?

i got 1200 miles on mine and still waiting for a new rub strip for the front and to fix teh passenger seat b/c it won't go forward. also the other night i got in my car turned the key and the car beeped at me loudly four times and the asr and abs lights came on and wouldn't go off so i turned the car off and started it a gain, it hasn't happened since but no one knows what it could have been??
