Hell. Yes.

I love it. Take care of it. I'd imagine driveline parts are pretty hard to come by? like the 4x4 stuff?
It's awd, all the time, correct?

No problem, I will be careful with him and treat him as any other MK2 in my ownage, in other words they will be more spoiled than my future children.

Nja, it's not 4-wheel driven ALL the time, atleast I don't think so, it is only when the front wheels are having trouble that the rear one's kicks in.
And regarding spare parts, I think it's pretty much the same stuff as VW used in the Caravan and similar (the newer VW "bus's" here in Europe) so it shouldn't be THAT hard to find them, atleast I hope they won't in case anything breaks.

johlsson, jurgen, wtf does it all mean? lol
and..hm..a country would be CRAZY with a g60, tdi, 1.8t, vr..(no 16v)

Well, I have this habbit naming all my cars, the red one is called "Sofine" (cause she's so fu**in' fine
), the Fire & Ice is called "Ice" (cause I used him along the first winter, and he was always covered in ice
) and then we got the Country, which got the name "Jurgen", cause he's simply German(import) and it's a cool name for the type he's going to be. yeah yeah, I'm crazy, but you'll have to live with it.

The I also had a Corrado G60 (Correlina), a 88's Silver CL (Bullit) and the Forssberg tuned GTI 8V (Sprinter).
And regarding the ngine, the 8V in the Country is a bit tired and when the new engine comes for Sofine, I have a SLS tuned G60 over, meaning... the Country might get a supercharger to play with.

"Lucky Cow"? Well, I may have been called alot but never a "cow", never the less a "lucky cow"..

Just came home from another adventure with him, a skislope looked som tempting so I just had to try to get up:

Many new areas can be found with this little fella'.

... although deep water is somethin' I won't try...

Cool house/building.

Out in the woods along the skislope...

Out in the woods along the skislope...

Freeeeeedom!

Looking out over Sundsvall/Timra with the help of Jurgen.

Nice views...

Nice views...

Many nice roads around hier to test out Jurgen on...

Nice to be lifted on these roads.

Just wait for the snow to come, then the true adventures begins. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/zeroforum_graphics/biggrinsanta.gif" BORDER="0">

Yeah, that's true, think I'll stick with the lucky cow.

Is it really expensive to move a car over from, ex Germany, to the states? Cause judging from the reactions I guess there's not somany Country's "over there"?

what are your plans for Jurgen.

Why thank U.

Well, for starters, I gonna mount some "vintertools" onto him, more lights on the roof and some showels and such.

And then, as the summer comes, a total restoration will begin, I will try to make him better in all areas, change the 4-wheeldriveparts into something stronger along with maybe a Turbo Diesel1,9 or maybe even a VR under the hood.
And I would like to lift the car a bit more, and mod' the chassi som bigger wheels/tires can be fitted...

The transportation fee is not too bad. Getting it registered through an importer may cost more than the Country itself.

Oh, that sux big time. =/ But as for the transporation fee, I would really love to do a trip over and bring my Sofine, so.. just checkin' a bit and planing.
