If this is the kid I think it might be, last I saw him he was still looking for a single piston ring. I don't know that he ever found one.

yupp , its me .. your matts wife, right? and yup .. project is on hold at the moment , need one piston ring and just kinda lost motivation so havent gotten to ordering it , will get it going again soon once I sell my snap on grill :thumbup:

so, I sold my aba swap .. still have the aftermarket head parts, I decided that I really wasnt going to be satisfied with the 2.0 at the end of the build so I came to conclusion that i will be dropping in a 1.8t and running megasquirt. this will be my first megasquirt experience and from the looks of it, at the end of everything I will be much happier and I guess thats what it all boils down to.

keep you guys updated, I am looking to buy a 1.8t swap now and I am located in virginia, willing to drive to pickup if you know anyone.
