Also finished both propshaft bearings.
Bought 2 from MK4 and cut off the original brackets and welded on the old ones. Should work out nice!
Need a layer of paint to be finished :)

Bois!
Just found out..the front right driveshaft long (hollow) I refurbished is for fwd, and will not fit my VR6 Syncro :/
Mine is approx. 785mm long. I checked with Autodoc, and they said that it fits 2.9 syncro.... but they are wrong...
I am guessing it should be around 585mm long...

But I can't find info about the correct one anywhere!?
please help with the part number?

Etka says 1H0407272AA is the correct part number, but you'll only find ~785mm long driveshafts with that number.
VW CP has a Passat B4 2.9 syncro driveshaft, but I'm not sure if that would fit.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah 1H0407272AA is the one I have, and it would fit perfect if I didn't have a transfer box.. But its too long.
I see the length of the Passat one is 620 mm, MK2 syncro one is 560mm. 191407272N

Got a little package today, from mister Claus Von Essen!
Shore 65 kit for my Jetta. Hope it will bring tighter handling and more racing-like feeling without killing too much comfort :)
Complete engine mount kit, steering rack bushing, crossmember bushing and differential bushing:)

That’s incredible! Where did you purchase the ultrasound washer?
Right!? :D
We have this cheap retail-franchise here in Scandinavia called "Biltema" (Cartheme). But I guess Amazon/Ebay or similar would have the same quality.
It costed 50$ ish
