Hey guys,
My mechanic used the old add fluid, press brakes to flush, bleed fluid... process. He did it once on 4 brakes (I think rear to front) and then repeated the process again after adding more fluid. So, is this a right method or does he have to use a special bleeder?
Thnx

Probably not the best way to do it, but it'll work.

Not the best? Probably not the easiest way to do it but as long as the old is flushed out for the new and there was no air introduced in the system then it's fine.

Guess I could've phrase that alittle better. I'm just spoiled on my pressure bleeder.

I can't wait to try one. All i've used is the old fashioned way and one of the mity-vac hand pumps which didn;t seem to work much better.

I've heard that is bad for the ABS, but who knows..
I bought a $50 power brake bleeder and that is how I do mine. PSI in bleeder @ 15psi and follow other instructions.
Dealer was asking for $100 for brake fluid flush, so this is an easy way and cheaper.
