Hey Everybody. Yes yes, I'm a newbie around here. One of my friends who used to own a Passat pointed me in the direction of this board so here I am.

I've been doing my fair share of research on the GTI and other VWs and I have grown to like the Euro style more and more. Right now, I own a 98 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6. It's a nice and dandy modded car but something about modding a Honda has disillusioned me. (being stereotyped as a r-i-c-e-b-o-y perhaps)

On top of this, IT'S AN AUTOMATIC http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif Anyhow, I know it's a ways to go, but I'm planning on purchasing a GTI within a 6-8 month timespan depending on how good of a job this college student can get. lol. I'm on my final lap of college though, so after next semester, it's smooth sailing. whew.
