Push rod ?

551 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  DUB_4_LIFE
When i was checking for a broken clutch release finger i was afraid to pull the entire push rod out. I wasnt sure if i pulled it out something would move in the tranny to enable me to get the rod back in? Does it just slide in and out for inspection or do i have to be carful?

Slides back in..
Make sure the rod did not punch a hole in the release plate.

Make sure the rod is straight and true, still.
