The rims are a little bright but they aren't chrome. I really didn't want painted aluminum rims and I couldn't find any polished aluminum rims I liked, so I got these AT Italia rims.....that is a stainless steel coating on the rim. I would like to go lower but I have to drive through the pot hole ridden streets everyday to get to work.

3 nuts hold the left side on and 2 nuts hold the right side on took 20 minutes to change. Got them from potterman for $199.
