Question abou springs...

'ey i'm looking to purchase a set of lowering springs and they were made for cars up to the year 96. Now... i got a 97. VR. And i can get a sweet deal for these springs. Is it possible? What will i have to do? I dont really know to much about the suspension...

it will prolly work but i think the front will be lower then normal just because the VR6 is more nose heavier then the 2.0 but that could be a good thing ie..rake but with spring rates i dunno it may be softer

what is a sweet deal, how much? what kind of springs? do you have struts and shocks?

im not sure what the difference is from 96 - 97, you might want to look into it though, when companies have an ending year for a part, theres usually a reason for it. Im not sure what the reason might be though, sorry

They are intrax lowering springs, i'm all stock... i want a lowered look but i dont want to pay out the as$ for it

never heard of them, i wouldn't go with em.
also, dont' put aftermarket springs on stock shocks. just don't.

The diff is OBD-1 and OBD-2... The obd-1 springs might not work....

I can't remember which way it was, but the spring hats are different. So I think if you got some <96 spring hats, it can work.
