Ive got a turboed Gold with some upgradeds, and I was wondering how much boost my car could handle. With the following upgrades.
Drivetrain etc.
1993 obd1 2.0 aba with new gaskets and seals
ARP undercut head studs and double-stacked headgaskets
Turbonetics t3s60 with ATP oil drain flange (1/2NPT)
Tial 35mm (11# spring) external wastegate with open dump tube
TurboSmart manual boost controller
TurboSmart Supersonic BOV
2.5" SS downpipe
2.5" SS Techtonics dual resonator exhaust w/Borla muffler and hi-flow cat
ATP Exhaust Manifold
ATP oil pan
K&N Cone Filter
C2 Motorsports obd1 Stage2 chip
Bosch 42# Green Injectors
3” MAF housing
New Autotech Shock Therapy plug wires
New cap/rotor/plugs
Refreshed transaxle with bolt kit (020-AUG)
New clutch/flywheel and 16v pressure plate
a/c deleted
PS deleted and rack lines looped with -AN fittings and hose
Eurosport short shifter with new bushings
EIP solid front motor mount
New G60 trans mount
Dual radiator fan setup
Low-temp thermostat and Low-temp fan switch
Walbro 255lph inline fuel pump under car

Someone told me 18psi But I dont wanna hurt the engine.

some have gone into the 20's with head spacer/stacked gaskets.

if you're dropping the money to buy all that and you're worried about hurting the engine, go all out and get forged internals and what not. in the long term that's probably the best idea anyways.

Depending on fuel used you can run 18-20lbs on pump gas with no problems as long as your A/F's and timing are correct. I have a similar setup as you aswell as adjustable cam gear (retarded). I daily 16lbs and track 20lbs and have done this for 50k kms with no problems. ABA's setup correctly are amazing motors. You running an 020 or 02A?? High boost and 020=
