When you purchase body kits...I guess first question would be where do you folks get 'em at? Specialty stores? Online? And secondly, are they difficult to install? How are they installed? Are they costly to install?
Thanks!

Re: Question about body kits (Tronious)

Grab a copy of European Car, note some vendors, and start surfing to their sites.
Then give them a call and they'll tell you if you need a eurobumper, if they're tought to install, etc...

First don't think of getting a body kit if your car is not lowered because if you get a kit without having suspension, it will look ridiculous. Second, start buying magazines such as Vw Performance, Max Power, European Car and start looking for issues that your car is in. Read the article and I guarantee some where in the article it will list the name of the kit. Also websites such as http://www.autobahnint.com http://www.abdracing.com and http://www.venommotorsport.com sells body kits and views pics of the kits. Check it out

Re: Question about body kits (Tronious)

There are a variety of brands to look into, all depends on a few things: style, material & budget.
Here are some names to look for: Rieger, Kerscher, ABT, Oettinger, projektZwo, Konigseder, JMS, JE Design, Kamei, Freedom Design, etc.
Look around and see what you like and go from there...do not rush, you might end up with a kit you do not like!

Re: Question about body kits (Jetta_J)

Hey guys/(gals if it applies) Thanks a lot! Great info. DUHHHHH didn't even think to go out and look for some VDUB magazines. I'm sure I'll find a lot of great info in there.
