The 2.0 coolant ball is spherical, while the VR6 ball is just a little oblonged. The connections points for bolting it up, coolant lines, and sensors are all exactly the same. One will work on the other just fine, only difference is amount of coolant that fits in the ball (which is no problem what so ever). It will work fine.
