Question about fittment on FMIC

I recentely bought a caractere bodykit for my golf gti. But I have heard on this thread that it is impossible to put a FMIC in the front. Is that actually true?

from looking at a caracter front bumper at waterfest and club h2o4 I would have to say taht some major major cutting wound be needed. the front bumper sweeps back to the radiator -- ATP's FMIC (what I have) needs about 5" of space.....thats a lot to cut......
