I'm buy some used rotors and pads with 8K miles on them for my full R32 brake setup in my '02 GTI. My question is do the need to be bedded in or what is the process? They are Autotech drilled/slotted front an rear rotors with Poterfield R4-S pads. Thanks.

Even if they already have 8k miles on them? The pads and rotors are coming off the same car I would think they would already be bed-in right?

Is each pad marked for what side it was on etc.?
If any of the pads moved to a different location, best to re-bed.
