How long do they last? Is this something i should look forward to replacing in the near future with 104k on teh clock right now? Thanks

They are cheap and a vital part of oil control/consumption. Don't nickel and dime yourself to death. Replace it.

yea i knwo its cheap parts, but then id have to rebuild the head, or this kinda work entails rebuild head which entails 1k bucks which i dont have. So what im asking is is this teh kind of part that NEEDS to be replaced as in im gonna be opening the head up a short time after i do the cams anyway?

you dont HAVE to rebuild the head, but your puttin cams in anyway...
With the milage you have, i know the money is tight, but the labor will be more if you have to do it twice.
Also with cams, youll see much more of a benefit if you rebuild the head, and do some work to it to help it flow better....
