Hey guys, I got my weitec kit and want to put them on, but have few Qs first. I got a 2.0 with 17x7.5 and 40et and 205/40s. I heard that I might have some rubbing on the inside when I lower, is this true. The drop is about 1.5 and it's a cup kit not coils. Should I be ok or do I need spacers.

I too have the Weitec kit. The TX to be precise with the 50mm drop, so I'm lower than you are. I run 17x8 with 40et on the rims. I'm pretty sure I can run without it, but have a 3mm spacer to bring me to 37et. No rub (unless it's killer turning) and can turn the full wheel turns. So, to answer you're question, I don't know, but, I have close to an inch more drop on you and half an inch wider tire with only a 3mm spacer. I don't think you'd need it, but read the other post about backspacing by Moosar to get a more technical answer.
