How many of you duber's run on stock rims? Right now I ride on stock rims (17" santa monica's) and when I'm on the road, i think my car looks damn good. But when I check here and look at everyone else's sweet rides, they're all on aftermarket rims. I just want to make sure that I'm not part of a dying breed over here...

Well, my 'sweet ride' is sitting pretty on stock 15" Avus rims that are dirty as hell. I stopped washing them a few months back and they are a real dark grey (almost black) and they look pretty good! Granted, I'd like to get some 17" sometime, but no money right now!

montreal IIs here, i remeber before i got her i loved those wheels, i thought id keep them forever, now i want rims....

I had the 15" avus rims to start off with. But once I saw the monte's i jumped on them. Paid $800 with 3000 miles on tires and perfection on rims.

Still got my stock 16's. Too expensive at the moment. I like suprising people at traffice lights.

priorities is the key word here. Personally I would like to have another set of wheels, but do I want to spend $1600.00 to replace a perfectly good set of Long Beach? Pffft, no way buddy, my money is better spent elsewhere thank you

I painted my stock wheels (montreals) black for winter wheels but rock 18s the rest of the year

Glad to know that I'm not the only one runnin w/stock rims. the 17" monte's were one major factor why i bought the gli.
