have you ever had problems with water freezing on your car's underbody and suspension after giving it a wash in the winter?

*dresses up like Obin* Nope. Only had problems with water freezing on the paint if I didn't chamois it quick enough *puts sheep skin back on*

When it's cold enough, I've coated the car's entire body in a layer of ice. Some will say that it's impossible to open the doors if they are frozen shut. I disagree, you just have to pull harder.

never. i use a chamois to dry the sides of the car off so that crap doesn't stick to the water.
does this help?

Of course!
Just work on small panels at a time. Dry before it freezes.

Your "pull harder" theory will eventually result in torn door rubbers. That's what the metal door has frozen to. If I get a door that's frozen I leave it alone until the heater can thaw it out, then I wipe away the water.

As long as you don't go shattering it off, or have it freeze the jambs/gaskets.
I wash on sunny days when the pavement melts. Get done before sunset, or the driveway's gonna be slick.
