Re: Question for the socal corrados (V arrrr SIX)

Ok, I have a question then, does the synthetic 15-50 flow better than standard 15-50?

Full Synthetic oil is much better for high temperatures, is even perfect under 150°C while regular oil starts burning / gets too thin and looses a lot of it's functionality

Here is some info on the subject.

Synthetic may handle the high temperatures a lot better but keep in mind that it has a knack for finding it's way out of your engine more so than regular oil. So check your levels contantly.

Re: Question for the socal corrados (V arrrr SIX)

when I got my car they had put 10w30 in it, and it was like water and it would burn right up, i tried 20w50 but still got thin under heat, now I use Vavoline racing straight 60w oil. stuff is as thick as molasas, and yes it take a tad longer to warm up, but its make the engine purr ever so smooth when at regular operating temp.
also it burns no longer.
