Re: Question: Need to fit a obd1 TB onto obd2 schrick manifold (selfatvi)

I run a OBD2 Schrick on my OBD1 and it wasn't hard at all. I used an OBD2 tb and just wired in the OBD2's tps into the OBD1 wiring. The 5v/ground wires were backward from what I thought they'd be on the OBD2 but other then having to swap them I had no issues. I retained the stock OBD1 ISV due to the OBD2 still having that port available on the side. I also had to delete the EGR but that wasn't hard either. Any other questions, just shoot.

I used an OBD2 tb so it bolted right on to the OBD2 Schrick. The wiring I just had an OBD2 ABA harness that I cut the plug and wire pigtails off of to wire it in.
The adapter would probably be cheaper if you don't already have an OBD2 tb sitting around.

I know exactly what you're saying, and that's exactly what I have. OBD1 engine management, OBD2 Schrick manifold. I used an OBD2 tb with some wiring mods. I'll try and take a picture later.
