It seems that everyone who has a site on how to install a boost gauge is using a gauge with a tube that connects with to a T-connector to a tube in the engine compartment that sees manifold pressure. The ECU obviously reads boost pressure so I assume that there must be an electrical input of manifold pressure to the ECU. Can this input be linked to a boost gauge?

Re: question on boost gauges (AxeAngel)

Correct me if I am wrong, but by mechanical you mean that the actual boost or vaccum of the engine drives the needle? Are the electrical gauges such as those made by Omori linked to the ECU signal or is there still a hose that connects to the gauge and there is a pressure transducer in the gauge that reads the boost and then an electrical signal from the transducer drives the needle.
