That puts the bleed screws on the bottom making brake bleeding more complicated.

Why vr6? They are the same as GTI 2.0 rear calipers, and all 16v rears will work as well. They all use the 8.9" rear rotor, same caliper, just different bolt pattern.

thanks for the info...i'm basically trying to use different rear calipers to avoid the common problems with scirocco e-brakes freezing up...i've heard mkIII calipers are better...any thoughts on what is best to use?

I realize that when using calipers other than the stock scirocco calipers...the e-brake cables need to be re-routed in order to attach to the calipers....does anyone know if you can still used the stock scirocco e-brake cables (is there enough slack to re-route)? If anyone has pictures of what a completed setup looks like that would be great....thanks

use Early A2 cables with rear disc. that will fix your cable length problem
