just curious .. i've been reading up on lowering (thanks to ya'll for making that 'lowering' post) and i am only going to drop my car 1.2 .. the roads in my hometown and at u of pitt aren't ideal for a bigger drop
my question is i know that it is not necessary to put a sway bar in for only a 1.2" drop but i was wondering what the drawbacks to not installing one are and/or what the advantages are of putting one on .. thank ya

Re: questions about a 1.2" drop (mselihar)

if you go with a set of springs like eibach they are gonna be cool the vw sport lowering springs are made by them. so you know they will be good with the stock set up. you won't have to replace your shocks for a couple of years but they will wear out faster than stock so go for it. i think after i had H&R and eibach i found eibach is on a level above all others. it made mt car handle like mad and i love it . http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
