I stopped to look at a '92 Cabby today for my girlfriend. Its black with a
black top and a dark grey cloth interior, 5-speed, showing about 115,000 on the odometer. The car seems straight and rust-free, but I'm leery of the price. They're only asking $1500, and I'm wondering if there is anything I should be specifically looking for on the car. I'm an A2 guy, so I can see A2 problems a
mile away, but this A1 stuff is somewhat foreign to me. Any pointers? I figure that either before or after the purchase, I'll bring the car to a shop to get the once over, but I need to know if there are any major things I should look for or avoid on such a car.
Thanks,

Re: Questions about a potential Cabby purchase (Jimbo70)

who cares, thats a cheap price for a 92 and as long as it looks good, any probs it has will prob be less than what it would cost to pay normal price. id buy that in a second if it looked good.

Re: Questions about a potential Cabby purchase (eurotrashrabbit)

Thanks for the info. BTW, isn't the CEO of Cosworth Keith Duckworth? Maybe his son took over or something, but I thought it was Keith...
