I may be aquiring an Audi TT 225hp K04 turbo and manifold. I know the turbo is different than a bolt on K04 upgrade, as the exhaust manifold is different, but does anyone know offhand if a standard K03 downpipe will bolt to the TT K04. The 225 downpipe is different than the standard downpipe, because it has 2 cats, but not sure of a bolt up. And also the TIP... is that different, or the same as a K03 sport, I think 44mm? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Quick 1.8t question... (reflexbug)

The downpipe and exhaust manifold should be two separate pieces, aren't they? I would imagine the stock TT header/turbo would bolt on to your motor, no sweat, and you could use a standard mk4 downpipe. The only reason the TT downpipe splits and has 2 cats is because the car was AWD, and the DP had to go around the propshaft to the rear.
On a related note, though...if you get the turbo, will you be getting the TT's ECU too? I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be required, or you'll need standalone.
