got an email from a buddy of mine...he said the APR 2.0T gains from 200 to 252hp are also from using 100 octane fuel...that the 93 octane program and using 93 octane fuel does not produce the 252hp...yes? no? APR...please chime in as well...maybe I missed something on the APR website about this...but I would think there would be a lot of angry customers if the numbers were not what they were represented to be
ps- not saying my buddy is right...just trying to accurately/honestly confirm

well, the stock 2.0T puts out substantially more than 200HP, more like 210-220hp. apr lists the "after" hp, and not the actual increase.

But Keithy says 252. So it must be true. He surely can't be stating poo!

Making an unprecedented 252hp and 303lbft. of torque, the new GTi becomes a v8 killer!

Re: (syntrix)

On a dynojet the 91 octane program dynos at 212hp, which is about 240-245hp at the crank
I've not seen a dynojet dyno of the 93 octane program, but its going to be pretty close to 250 crank.
The peak horsepower gain is not massive, maybe 20 to 30hp, but the difference in the midrange is more like 40-50hp
