Question: what does it do and do i need it? if yes can I buy iit seperate, because i don't need to spend $160 on the new slave cilinder if i don't have to.

i found one for $38, but dealer wanted 160,

Honestly I have no clue where to get it. When I was younger I remember me and my dad coated the handles of some of his tools with this plastic/rubber liquid that you dip them into and they dry like a glove. It would be perfect for your application. Or you can just look around your house. If you use your imagination you will definatley find something to stick on the end

Heck, to cover up the hole in my air boot after I installed a catch can, I used the cap of a 20 oz. water bottle. Even looks professional haha! Cheers my friend. Good luck, come back and let us know how you make out,

But there is a bunch of different brand names out there. Should be able to find it at some auto parts store, or maybe Ace, Tru-Valu, etc.
