It idle's real low, when it heats up it won't anymore. 8vRabbit???

Any ideas, Checked fro vaccum leaks, could'nt find any.

i know it's obvious, but have you adjusted the idle air bypass on the throttle body? just have to make sure...

Rabbit idling like crazy

that air bypass was loose on my car makin it sound like a water kettle at full steam, and i screwed it back in place and now my car idles at 2.5K. i didnt think it was related until now, before i check it out tomorrow, is that most likely gonna be the problem?

eh? if you screwed in the idle bypass screw and you're idle took off to 2500 rpm idle you:
a- have a pretty good vacuum leak
b- screwed it the wrong way

dunno, im goin to allentown saturday to get the title for that yellow mazda of mine so i can sell it, and gettin a ride back with my other GTi friend; but that wont be till like 3pm Sunday. so looks like im missing Home Depot, but we could stop by KOP. maybe with my slicks on, overidling engine, and my friend's DV camera. ill let you know
