I have a 1984 rabbit with a 3sp auto tranny. i was wondering if there are other auto trannies that can be swapped out for this one. i would like to get a 4 or 5sp auto. i am not looking for performance or anything, just a daily driver that i feel could use a taller gear. thanks guys

Check the MK1 Section. I've asked the same question though, but most people swap to a manual rather than an auto swap so I never got a good answer.
