I did it for my whistler, just tapped into the fuse location for the rear window wiper.

question:
has anyone done a hardwire for an Escort Passport 7500 (or similar, I figure all the installs are the same more or less) into a MkIV. My roommate and I were trying to tap the fuse panel, but couldn't seem to get power.
