People been askin what my car really looks like since I posted some hard to see pics from inside the garage. I was waiting until the weekend when it would be sunny to take the pics since I work all day during the week. Well, weekend gets here and its raining. Its the best I could do.
Car still needs alot of work, and the body work it has is getting old. The paint on this car is atleast 6 years old that I know of. In the next year its going to get the hatch shaved, bad body spots fixed, driver side wiper hole filled, and some other stuff.
I have some smoked rear tails I went to put on this morning but I guess I need late model A2 bulb trays so I couldnt get em on

So the car aint a show car, its my daily driver. Be kind, its "under construction".

Theres a few engine pics here:

http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif for being brave enough to run 13's!
BTW, did you cut the rebar to fit the IC??? I imagine that can't be good in an accident...

Nice. Where did you get the bumper covers?
What kind of turbo charger?
What intercooler are you running?
what PSI?

hey thanks.
The bumpers front bumper came from a place called Inteuro that sells aftermarket repro body panels to shops. I have bought like 5 of these from them, almost every time its different in some respect. This time it came with the chin spoiler molded into it.
I dont know what they are currently selling, I got this 3 years ago.
Yeah, the bumper bar is chopped out of it. Safe in an accident? Just the fact that I'm driving a Dub instead of a Sedan DeVille means I'm not worried about it too much:) The way I see it, if I get in a wreck that is bad enough to hurt me, that flimsy bumper bar aint gonna help.
Turbo is a 60 trim compressor, .48 stage 1 turbine T3. Intercooler is a Procharger cooler from a Mustang 5.0 supercharger kit. Boost set around 15, creeps to 18, once I tune it it will be back to 20.
If anyone is wondering about the rust spots on the rear hatch it had one of those Zender wings on it long ago.

far better looking than the slew of 16, 17, and 18's floating on the TEX, in fact one might consider a small wheel original anymore

excellent choice with the cookie cutter!!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Thanks to everyone else too.
Brave to run 13s? Nah, the reason I need to be brave is to deal with all the phucks that act like Im getting styling cues from the Puerto Rican or Mexican scene. Excuse me, but my wheels fit INSIDE the wheel well, and are not ghetto chrome thank you very much.
I can't really take credit for everything on the car. The body was already done pretty much how it is now when I got it. It already had the single round, but I changed the front bumper, put on the boser blick grille spoiler, put on the bonrath grille, switched the suspension out to the AVOs and dropped it another inch, or two. On the other hand when I bought this car I was already building one that was going to end up looking like this anyhow, down to the wheels.
I don't know what color I want to paint it. For a long time I have been considering lime green, but after seeing gti250hp's car Im really really likin that. The silver is kinda boring, but on the other hand its a clean color that looks good. So I dont know.
One thing that doesnt really show well in the pics is how low it really is. The camera angle almost makes it look barely lowered, but as I roll out of the driveway the front bumper scrapes while the exhast tip scuffs as well.
