I toured the last one in our S4. I gotta say that tearing the plastic "sound dampener" off the bottom was worth every penny. I would do it again if I thought my wife would let me take her car again.

yeah I think that Gary has done this about 1000 times over....he is a rally ****!!! I am deff. coming to spectate this event....dont have a car worthy to run in it I am a street guy myself.
on a side note Getting on two wheels about 5 feet in the air with rich was pretty bad arse!!

gravel pit in MN has them occasionaly though.. it's quite a hike.

Gary - funny you should mention the Pit. I was there for the Harvest Moon rallycross - and it got cancelled!! Schlepped all the way to Faribault and nuthin'. Greg Donovan took a couple of people to his parent's farm, where they have carved out a little course. I think they might host the June Bug rallycross.
I think the Pit is out of commission for good. They are going to use the Arkansaw MX park, where they also hold rallysprints. That's only a 5 hour drive vs 7 to the Pit.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only nut to make the drive up there.

although.. hmm... mustang does have cooper cobras on it for the time being.. and it does have decent torque *understatement?* and a limited slip.. heh maybe... just maybe...
