I can’t imagine actually forgetting my kid, but either way both of our cars remind us (and you can disable it) to check the back seat if the rear door(s) are opened at any point, when you shut it off.

The Volkswagen Funk button. It's German for "radio" and designed for powering a two-way radio for police or commercial use.

Use a raspberry Pi activated by that to switch to aux, power on an iPod, and play Bootsy Collins at max volume.

Why hasn’t anyone ever cloned that concept with a Crown Vic wagon?

I’ll one up the wagon option with an 02 Audi allroad 6SP MT with collapsable, swing away and removable rear facing third row seat.

Side note: not suitable for adults 6’3” in stature.
