real deal with euro fender flares?!?!?

SO I had a set of euro fender flares sitting in my closet for a couple of months. I tried putting them on today, rear one fits good, but the front one is the problem. Now the actual flare fits great, but that little piece of molding that's attached to it is the problem. It's too big first of all, then it sits too low, like it's not for that car. Is there a difference between 2 door and 4 door fender flares? Is there two differnet kits all together or wut?

And no they are not italian replicas, they are german pieces, says german on them and part number.

Euro trim fits about 1/2 lower along the side of the car. Same on the top. Just cover down lower. Also the front flare incorperates the small piece of side trim onto it. They are not made to be used with US side trim.

the front flares with that side trim attached to it are the problem. the small piece of that side trim sits a bit low and it wont overlay the hole where the NA trim was. also the clip in the back doenst fit in the hole right, is it supposed to? everything else fits great except the small side trim on the fronts, they seemed to be bigger than NA ones too. Very strange!
