Rear box only available separately?

I know this topic has more that likely been beaten to death in here:
But does anyone make a direct bolt-on rear muffler for a 16v?
The stock piping is still shiny OEM stainless and the Walker replacement that came with the car has a baffle rattling away inside it (quite annoying). I cannot see spending money on an aluminized system and taking it all down. I also don't want to go to a muffler shop and have one "cobbled" together and I'm not too big of a fan of the "pieced together" exhaust look that the TT and Autotech systems have even though they work well.
I had a G60 rear box on the back of my GTi that looked and sounded awesome, does someone produce one that looks similar for the Scirocco?

Yes, that Walker you have rotting away *is* a "direct bolt-on replacement", no? Any decent import FLAPS should help you out...

i just bought one yesterday for my beater from Olympic Auto parts in MD. It is made by Bosal and is direct replacement for the factory Scirocco 16v...of course it's not the same quality but it only cost $108.00
Re: Rear box only available separately? (4string)

Ansa makes some too

You can get the TT system welded as one piece. I didn't like the look that much either, but if it is not in several pieces, then you need to drop the rear axle to put in a new exhaust.

Looking in the attic, I have a Walker 16V muffler, dual outlet, w/ light use...I have no need for it...$40 + ship from Cincinnati?

Thanks for the offer Ron, but I'm trying to get out of the one on the car now. Tempting as it may be, I'll pass for the time being. Thanks though.
Had a chance to drive with the window down today (it was in the 50's here), and the rattling is just downright annoying. You can hear the baffle rattling when you drive next to medians and start to buzz when you get on it.
FYI, unless you spend some bucks on a Supersprint or a Remus, no one makes a direct-fit peformance rear box only. Ansa and Bosal only offer OEM replacements and also upon further inspection, the outer diameter of the pipe is 55mm or roughly 2 1/8" so it's pretty sizeable plumbing from the factory, stainless and mandrel bent to boot.
Anyone have a Leistritz they wanna get rid of for cheap?
